Community Guidelines

Barki Social is for people who care about dogs and the professionals who care for them. Keep it kind, honest and safe.

Be kind

• No harassment, bullying, hate speech or threats.
• Critique work respectfully. Groomers and owners are learning too.

Put dogs' welfare first

• No content showing or encouraging animal cruelty, neglect or unsafe handling.
• If you see a real welfare concern, report it with the "Animal welfare concern" reason. If a dog is in immediate danger, contact local animal control.

Be honest

• Only post work that is yours, or credit who did it.
• Reviews must be your genuine experience. No fake, paid or self-reviews.
• Don't impersonate people or businesses.

No scams or spam

• No selling or shipping of puppies, "teacup" sales or other animal sales.
• No misleading offers, phishing or repetitive promotion. Business posts are welcome; spam isn't.

Sponsored posts

• Businesses can pay to show their own posts in the Home feed. Every sponsored post is labeled and reviewed by our team before it runs.
• Sponsored posts follow all of these guidelines, plus: no misleading claims, prices or before-and-afters, and no medical or behavioral promises.
• Paying never changes how organic posts are ranked, and it never buys reviews or the verified badge.

Respect privacy

• Don't share anyone's home address, phone number or other private details without permission.
• Ask clients before posting their dogs.

What happens when rules are broken

Moderators review reports. Depending on severity we may remove content, remove a review, or suspend an account. Every action is logged.
